Profile

Kenichi Iida — Born in 1981, based in Tokyo. Freelance software engineer and designer with 13 years of experience. After working at a publishing company and a web production agency — launching services and building interactive campaign sites — I went independent in 2011. I have been creating personal projects since 2004, releasing over 20 apps and services along the way. In 2013, I also went on a 91-day round-the-world backpacking trip.

Drawing on a design-engineering perspective honed through interactive campaign site work, I currently focus on React-based development, expanding into design systems and AI technologies while contributing to team-driven projects. Beyond that, I also develop personal products and teaching as a part-time university lecturer — engaged in both creating and sharing.
